Abstract

|
A case of well treated recurrent extra-abdominal desmoid tumor(musculo-aponeurotic fibromatosis)arising from the right shoulder girdle in a twentytwo-year-old, unmarrid female is presented.
The mass had dense, grayish white and glistening character invaded the upper part of the trapezius muscle and a portion of the rhomboid and deltoid muscle but without bony involvement. The resected mass was 12×6.5×5.5 cm in size along its maximum dimension. Microscopic findings revealed that of the desmoid tumor.
